Autumn/Winter is my favourite time of the year and I’ll be honest, it is when my style is at it’s best! I was recently told that this year, my style game has stepped up and I was later thinking that that was one of the best compliments I have ever received. Someone else said that my style is goals – like OMG!
I decided to put together this lookbook with a few key staples your wardrobe should have for AW16! I had originally planned on posting this blog back in the middle of October but between college, work, personal life and being unwell, I had to postpone it until now – and I should currently be studying Tender is the Night for my exam on Saturday but nope!
This first look is a simple everyday look. The nude jumper is so on trend this year as neutral tones are one of the key colours to have in your wardrobe.

Next look is a very dressy daytime look. Statement coats can transform any basic outfit into something that is straight of of NY Fashion Week catwalks. Personally, I love statement jackets!

- Pussybow blouse – Heatons €18.
- Jeans – Same as before.
- Boots – From H&M last year.
The Pussybow blouse has been around for years but they’re so on trend at the moment. The can make any simple outfit that little bit sophisticated. You can wear them with skirts or jeans, a blazer or cardigan – anything! I feel like Blair Waldorf when wearing one! Below I have shown three different styles of the blouse. In the third photo, I feel very much like Celia Holman Lee!!

Here is another causal look, completed with a statement coat. I wore this to work one day and for a class presentation another, it is so versatile. I am SO IN LOVE with this coat. In case you didn’t know, Houndstooth or Dog Tooth pattern is my favourite when it comes to style so when I spotted this, I knew I needed it.

One fashion trend I have been adoring lately is chokers!! I almost wear one everyday. They are so high fashion at the moment and personally, no outfit is complete without one!

These chokers are also from Penneys. The lace type version is €5 and the diamond (how Kardashian like is it??) is €10!
I felt like I was going to my local country club for lunch with the gals in this next outfit! Another day time outfit that has a hint of sophistication. I am living in my knee high boots this year. Polo necks are an essential around this time of year and I have only recently found my love for them!

And what is a lookbook without an evening outfit?! A really nice and easy outfit has to be the dress shirt and knee high boots! I have two of these dress shirts at the moment and I NEED to invest in more!
Above is the black shirt dress I have from Penneys which was €18 and they have a vast range of these available at the moment and you can be sure to find me making a trip to Dublin soon to buy all of them. I am not joking.
